Born in a world

where values had changed

torn apart

from kith and kin

victim of war

of moral decay

abject poverty

that will not go away,

the child is abandond

left begging for food

wanting a hand of love

from a kith and kin

anyone will do.

Hardly a day

passes us by

without that cilds face

catching our eye

when will it end

no more a victim

but a child with love

and a kith and kin.
