Love is a journey. Through rough waters, sunny days, and thunderstormed waterways, it's all part of the experience. |
|
The tides sweep me under,
In ocean eyes of blue,
Journeying into the unknown,
A single one-man crew,
The sunlight shining bright,
In hopes of worlds anew,
Glimmering one way glass,
Concealed ocean’s truth,
The day begins to end,
Yet sailing sails on through,
Into windy, twisted lands,
Into your eyes,
Into love,
Into you.

Chris you have skillfully used such simple word pictures to convey in a fresh way the mystery, depth and intimacy of this thing called love. I really enjoyed this poem! Outstanding in my opinion.
