I wrote this on 1 Sept 1997 in a little shack by the road just outside of Woodstock,Vt. A man by the name of Dan, had a vegetable stand their. I sat in it and enjoyed the senery about me. There were beautiful green fields, a huge garden behind me, and two of Dans dogs were were there to keep me company. The stand is still there today as far as I know. So if your in Vermont, go visit Dan's vegetable stand.

In the country it is, a farmers garden.Big red tomatoes ripened to it's peak.Bright yellow corn, crisp to the taste, and oh, there's the smell of clean air.A basket of cool cuccumbers, green for an afternoon treat. Caulaflours bloomed with more to spring up soon. Theres a fluffy black dog with white spots lieing close by. It's sold from a shack in Woodstock,Vt. The flowers are fully bloomed, with red sedum. There's liatris blazing stars, there not to far. There's lovage, and red and yellow day lillies, so to leave from here would just be plain silly!
