Remember Me

When this dark and unforgiving world falls before you and all your paths in life are overgrown and you are unable to see,

please remember me.

When you hear the voice of your own pride that says there is no other way,

please remember me.

I could not believe in true love because I could not see,

until you came to me in the light of the glimmering heart that wanted to flee.  At a time in my life, when I thought the rising sun of dawn seemed forever expended,

you showed me true love until my heart was mended.

Like a wave that travels the wide blue ocean,

our souls are never lost,

in their eternal journey to find its meaning.

In the ocean of despair lit by the light of the moon,

Not then, not then, but soon,

I’m sure you can agree,

That your soul will be with me.

When covered mountains rise before you and I,

as we’re standing in the deep well of desire,

asking God for forgiveness,

we’ll find that there’s hope in the land of the dove,

the land that we call heaven.

A place where all our questions will be answered and all our sins forgiven.  A place where love has no limitations for love is all around.

We share our lonely paths alone,

wondering how fragile is the heart when we just can not take it anymore.  Asking God to forgive us and to give us wings, so that we can be in his grace.

To leave our feeble hearts and mortal vases of fear behind,

so that he can take these crumbled hopes, patched with tears,

to someday rise above these earthly cares.

But until God grants us that day, never give up hope and always, always, Remember me...

This is indeed fantastic and outstanding in every sense of the words. I like they way you let your pen release the deep expressions of gratitude and the acknowledgments o the heavens, the dove and yes God our creator.
