Happiness vs Joy <<>> A Comparison

If one is very honest with themselves, sometimes, there really isn't anything to be particularly 'happy' about...it just happens that sometimes life is hard and filled with pressing circumstances that leaves one without anything to smile about...but we smile and we laugh and there is a 'reason', deep inside, to go on. From where does this 'second wind' come? What is it that lights up what should be a very, very sad countenance...?

H appiness depends on happenings...when all is well...

A mid good times...laced with tranquility...a quell.

P articularly there, when life is going as good as one thinks it should...

P ersonable cares are safe...vanquishing need for 'hard times' hood.

I noperative are glum thoughts...when...out of the blue... happiness bids adieu.

N erve racking ramifications bring on alterations...seek the antidote...

E mbodied deep within your soul...His Joy...a lifesaving envoy...you float.

S inging is the last thing you want to do... but a song comes... as you go thru.

S smiling is automatic...from where?...it's He...alleviating your tears.

V isions from 'happy days' tries to erase your calm...it'll plague your mind...

S ingularly...without His 'remedy'...you cannot find peace sublime.

J oy is so needed...it can't be taken away...earth has no ploy...

O bstacles become a stepping stone to Him...who is our sustainer...our hoy!

Y es...happiness...comes and goes...give me Joy...His forever present alloy.
