No one can rely on themselves to give God the praises He so richly deserves...No one can take the credit for the lauds that come forth giving honor to the King of Kings. No one...but...God Alone

At times the mind is empty

it has nothing to say

but then...

the phrases of admiration break

like the dawn of a fine new day

Out of a silent heart

flow syllables of Glory and Praise

a mighty wave breaks upon dry shores...

the chaff is driven away

And one is

why it is not them at all

bringing forth the inspiring lauds

which fill our hollow halls

...It is God alone!

Who forms the tender prose?

it is He who speaks...He who knows

it is He who gives every breath

that tells of His mighty heights and depth

A Glorious King...

with miraculous healing springs

A Marvelous Keeper...

bountiful substance reaper

A Trusted Benefactor...

our soul's wroth retractor

'Tis God...

God Alone!

Ps 86:10

Dear Joyce, This is a wonderful spiritual and depth poem. Particularly, among others, these two lines
" It is He who gives every breath
that tells of His mighty heights and depth" Without Him we cannot be alive.
