Yes...I know, life is far from perfect. And nobody, absolutely nobody...lives a carefree existence. We all have our mountains to climb. But who goes with us each and every step of the way? The King of Kings, that's who! Who is the King of Kings?! Why...'Tis our Father - Him Whom We Love!

Who lifts us from the claws of despair

and the valleys steep with sorrow?

Who eradicates the weight of helplessness

gives us a song of hope for tomorrow?

~'Tis Our Father - Him Whom We Love!~

Who escalates us despite our wounds

and reveals a promised blessed future?

Who proves that He holds our sanity secure

with His...infallible sutures?

~'Tis Our Father - Him Whom We Love!~

Who breaks wicked chains asunder

allowing a pathetic soul to go free?

Who removes carnality's cataracts

enabling see?

~'Tis Our Father - Him Whom We Love!~

Who simply 'breathes' upon us

and we are if on wings?

Who attends our soaring and bids us rest

on a bed of peace...He brings?

~'Tis Our Father - Him Whom We Love!~

He provides for all our needs

and gives us His eternal love

He is our master and our friend

sending inspirations from above

O! He is the Creator!...this none can deny!

He abdicated, He walked this earth

and yes...for you and I...He died!

Until He returns we shall be kept

'neath His cloak...and shawl

For we've felt His presence - He knows us!

We belong to...'whose'?...devoted thrall?!

~'Tis our Father - Him...Whom We Love!~

What timely, expressive words you created to tell about our Heavenly Father. In this time of devastating news of the unemployed, the weak economy, the jobless; it is comforting to honor the Father of us all, knowing that He holds each believer in the palm of His hand. An inspirational read, Joyce. Thank you for this offering. God Bless.
