This is beautiful Joyce! Its one of your best and it touches my heart. My dear cousin, Christene Viverous died Dec 24th . Sadly I have not been able to write a new poem for her. Could I make a copy of this and send it to her family ? I would let them know it was written by you and I wanted to share it with them...M I'LL post the one I sent them for her...

This touched me deeply as it is true this is the time we think of those that we have lost. This year I am going through griefing that I did not llow for myself when I lost my son. Thought I had. Surprise more layers to go through. Yes I can be selfish and wish he was here......... Thank you for posting this as I need to get in touch with all emotions connected with death.

I totally understand, Joyce...at this time of year especially, the ones we've lost are in our thoughts.

Me too!!! I don't know how to have Christmas without my mom. I just don't know how it can even happen without her voice and laugh. I'm about to find out. This is a perfect poem, Joyce, I love it.
Merry Christmas! Love,

Beautiful, heartfelt, caring words of those who have departed before you. We never really do get used to the heartache involved in losing family and friends, but when missing my loved ones, I revel in the fact that there will be a wonderful homecoming in the heavenlies by and by. A simply lovely poem of Godly proportions, Joyce!

Your poem exudes Christ love and care. I am sure He felt the same way when his flock went south and did not follow. We just have to pray for a better tomorrow. God Bless You!
