Safe
There is a safe place
Hidden within
Blood red and beating
My heart
No one knows
No one can go.
Deeply, hidden inside
The darkest corners
Protected by me
Never to be seen
Or touched
Never to be free.
Tucked away safely
Hidden from all
No one can touch
No one can hurt
Never again
Never at all.

READING YOUR WORK FROM TIME TO TIME I AM SOMEWHAT FAMILIAR WITH THE PAIN AND TRAUMA YOUR EMOTIONS HAVE EXPERIENCED SO, WITH THIS IN MIND I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE FEELING IS A NATURAL REACTION OF ONE WHO SEEKING TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM ANY MORE SUCH ASSAULTS. BEAUTIFULLY PENNED...FOR NOW. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS.
