Change

Colors of the rainbow
One day it was here
Quickly disappearing
For another year.

A dark, gray mist
Is all around
Golden, rustic leaves
Blanket the ground.

A chill in the air
Winds that blow
Preview of tomorrow
We all know.

Families will gather
For the holidays
Fires aglow
Snow’s on the way.

Ring in the New Year
Spring has sprung
Tulips and daffodils
Have just begun.

Fun in the sun
Fill our summer days
Golden tans quickly
Begin to fade.

Hip, Hip Hooray
Fall’s on its way
The season of color
In full display.
