Get Over It
My question...
How do you get over it?
I’ve been recently told
To get over it!
Do you take a death
And, just get over it?
Or do you grieve that death
And, then get over it?
Am I blind at getting over it?
Or, do I just f_ _ _ _ _ _
get over it?
I’ve been told,
to just get over it.
Okay, I’ll try my best
to just get over it.
Question…..Will I lose you
If I don’t get over it?
Then, I guess I will
Because, you know what
I'll get over it........

| Dear Deborah ~ It is not getting over it, it is going through it and accepting it. It's your pace. Be Well, Carin' |

| Grief is an ongoing journey and each copes differently with it. It takes time to get over it . There's nothing wrong in talking about your lost loved ones or sharing feelings and thoughts. Treasuring memories keeps them closer to you and gives incite into their lives and helps with the greiving process..Writing such as you have done is a lasting tribute to them and also helps you to let your thoughts and feelings out. I still miss Josh(our 2 yr old grandson who lived with us) terribly and he's been gone since May 2000.I know he's one of Gods angels and do not wish him back due to the illness he had,. I miss the human presence, as I do my mom. She died in 2002. I know there is life after death. I 've seen and felt loved ones who have passed on. That helps so much. I wrote an article about it on my den. My mother still comes when things are bad sometimes and tries to help form beyond. We feel her presence strongly at times. I guess we both are going through some very rough times. I get through one thing and it seems liKE two more pop up . When does it end????M |

| We never get over those things or people that mean so much to us the best we can do is silently remember and shed a private tear as we move through our day |

'GET OVER IT!!" SOMETIMES CAN BE SAID IN A VERY UNCARING, HARSH WAY, WHICH IS NOT MEANT AND IT CAN ILLICIT RESENTMENT.ONE SHOULD 'GRIEVE' AT THEIR OWN PACE AND EVERYONE'S GRIEVING PERIOD IS DIFFERENT...BUT ANN...MAY I JUST SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE CARE AND NOT BECOME BOGGED DOWN IN GRIEF, SO MUCH SO, TO THE POINT WHERE YOU CANNOT GET FREE. GOD IS WITH YOU ANN AND YES...WITH HIM YOU CAN GET OVER ANYTHING.
GOD BLESS AND THANKS FOR SHARING. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS |
