 Locked Doors

Fifteen years have passed

He’s still getting it wrong.

In and out of trouble

From dusk to dawn.

He still think’s like a child

While trying to be manly

Continues to put on a front

After abandoning his family.

His children are young

They don’t understand why.

Why, their Daddy continues

To lie and deny.

There have been many times

He claims he’s found his Lord.

When they begin to trust him

He ends up locked behind doors.

His life is still shattered

Lord, will you help him

Find the hope and courage

To unlock the doors?

Beautifully done, Deborah. Some people fall into a complete abyss until they find the Lord. But they also have to look for him.
I am sorry I have not reviewed lately because of illness. Stay strong!
GOD BLESS YOU
