A Moment Realized
In the heat of the day
Fueled by the setting sun.
We fight a fiery fight
Until the evening’s done.
Morning’s calming tides
Rush against the shore
Cooling heated waters
Our evening cries.
Love, is a subtle calm
A morning low tide.
Our reality of a day
A moment realized.

Deborah,
You paint a wonderful picture here. I don't live near the ocean but your words describe it perfectly.

a subtle sleuthing out of the cyclical nature of our days with an extra special emphasis on the most powerful influence of all... nicely penned, Deborah.
May you be at peace with all you meet...
