Have you ever wondered,Why the sun loves the moon?
Why the stars dance in the midnight sky?
Why they ever caught your eye?

Have you ever questioned,
The way you felt?
The way everything made sense?
Why you never gave up on them?

Have you ever thought,
Why that song meant what it did?
Why that picture made you miss them?
Why that kiss always lingered?

The moon fell for the sun’s radiance.
The mystery of the darkness,
Captivated the stars.
Your smile was amazing, so hard to misplace.

I thought if I was honest,
This feeling would go away.
But I was wrong.
Now I have no one but myself to blame.

Feeling so open, so out of place,
everything is so different.
I thought, maybe things would change,
So I poured my heart on the page.

But what if I’m wrong,
That you feel like I do?
Maybe I’ll keep quiet,
And hope one day, you’ll speak the truth.

If the stars feel from the sky,
Then why do we never find them?
Why do I care so much,
But not have the strength to tell you?

That’s it, I’ll lie.
I’ll let the moon fall for the sun.
The stars fall for the sky.
Never again, will I question why.
