It's like falling apart when they leave to have yourself built back up.

It’s cold when you’re not here.
No smile to share the warmth.
I’m lost without you here,
No arms to keep me safe.
Our song is playing,
But it has no meaning left.
It keeps playing,
I wish we had one more dance.
This party is awfully crowded,
And yet, I still feel so alone.
Maybe it’s just the repeating thought,
That you won’t be coming home.
We were happy, we were one.
But that was broke in two.
A song without a melody,
I am nothing, without you.
I know you didn’t want too,
I could see it in your eyes.
Listen to me closely,
This isn’t possibly goodbye.
Because I know that I’m your princess.
And you’ll forever be my prince.
Our hearts danced together,
With such grace and desire.
Frozen at the seam.
My only wish is to wake up from this dream.
It’d be the perfect day,
An endless fantasy.
I’ll just sit here by myself.
And suddenly hear that voice,
The one that belongs to angels.
The sweet soft silent guilt building in his words.
“ I’m sorry, I need you.
I never meant to leave.
Girl you know, you’re all I want.
I’m wearing my heart on my sleeve.”
That night my heart came together,
It bent with his into one.
Now we’re with another
And nothing can break us apart.
