Would you return all your yesterdays
To have one last tomorrow?
Would you give up all you had
For just another day?
If I offered you absolution,
Would you gladly take it,
Or would you remain in your current state?

If you had the chance
Would you change your ways?
If you knew this day were your last
Would you confess your true feelings?
If this were to be our last chance
What would you say to me?
Would you embrace the silence?

Is a chance worth taking
Or is it better to play it safe?
Could you live with your feelings
If I left this world tonight?
Could you trust in me enough
To throw caution to the wind
Or is it easier to hurt?
