i was ripped from the bends of ankles-
defaulted- foaming dreams magnified by the pillar
yelling secrets that have been hushed in hips swaying-
was i not good enough to receive love

balancing my breathe when silent cries- seep through walls in lobed winds
adjusting-the back yard tainted from my impurities
I. Speak. Of the rivers fine tuned in notches
the banks battered -abused -soul
cast in trash cans with rotten leftovers
washed over in ducts of sewage condemned
with heavy chains baring hard heavy on my soul-

gripping mucus from my lungs-wrapped in words
pulling poetry out my veins-
it is easy for me to steal night from eyes and rest here-
safely-my dementia is only here for comfort-

no one can see it- smell it- but it is here-ghost faced hiding
teasing steps in tears- pointing fingers in corners-
with no release-slipping caricatures-
living lies- insane in instant-cradling my pain-I. Speak. Of the rivers
evaporating in blankets-shedding flavors- colors of my rainbow- in edible skittles
holding my pain-licking its taste-i collect my mind
