Dedicated to the Akron High School graduation class of 1964
A voice on the phone from the past
Brings back a flood of memories
Of friendships that will forever last
A rich part of our life's history
Will they remember me?
Will I remember everyone's names
Will they remember mine?
We only had a graduation class of NINE!
The Prom, Blue and Gold football games
Memories of a President's assassination
Our mourning with our great nation
Powder Puff football, cutting classes
Final exams, praying everyone passes
So much catching up to do
Was that one grandchild, or did you say two?
A few pounds gained or lost our hair
Sadness for those not there
All in all we reach the same conclusion
No other world event could ever compare
To an Akron High School Reunion!!

|A fine tribute to your high school reunion, Annette. I've never had one myself. I graduated during the "hippie" era and I guess we did not think such things were important. I've been to my ex's though and it was fun. Thanks for sharing. Love and peace,
