Yesterday there was love
Things were so right
I lift my eyes above
Trying to see through this black night
Wondering where it all went wrong
What did we do?
My life is like a sad, sad song
All the colors seem blue
I remember how close we were...
The first time we met...
To see you made my heart melt...
Those times I will never forget
They are buried deep within my heart
Memories help to ease the pain
Of being forever apart
Maybe someday I can feel love again
And hopefully you may...
But I will always miss yesterday...

Most of your poetry "speaks" of exactly the way I feel and what I am going through, Annette. I suppose that is one reason why I am drawn to it but also, you write from your soul and your words involve the reader emotionally. Thank you. Love and blessings,
