Red wine being an elixir for youth and medicine for heart, in this poem it is symbolized as life giving source in the form of true and passionate love…

With every glass of wine
I’ve tried to reach The One:
The one, who shook my world,
Who stole my heart…
Whose touch was fresh and genuine.

In every glass of wine
I have tried to see The One,
And tried to bury this pain of mine.
But once the taste of bitterness was gone,
My past was drowned in the wine…

And soon,
In the glass of wine I saw his face,
His charm and charisma magnified ten times
My heart was shrinking in the wine.

I was so helpless, completely numb,
Electric shock rushed through my palms.

And suddenly I wished to grow like a tall grapevine,
To be all over him, to hug him and wrap my legs, my arms
Around his waist and his gracious spine,
I didn’t care if I had to twist and stretch myself
As long as I can be with him and
Be sweetly intertwined…

To have him taste the perfect wine
From my thirsty lips,
To enjoy delicious red grapes
From the virgin vine: full of love and sunshine.

AMAZING THE 'JOURNEY' A FEW GLASSES OF WINE CAN TAKE YOU ON...ONE SEES THE THINGS THAT MAKES THEM HAPPY AND THE THINGS THAT MAKES ONE...SAD. THIS IS A GOOD WRITE. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS.

Bacchus could be my name with a cornucopia filled with the gods elixir that humans call wine coming from ripe grapes like Aphrodite's nipples.
Inebriating as it may seem it will be for you worth to try a sip?
Tenderness, abandon and erotic...sigh!
