This poem was inspired by a dream that I had recently.

Come with me into the Forest of Enchantment.

There lingers the perpetual wraith of fairy tales past.

Incessantly drawn toward the oblivion of the unreal,

I so willfully will travel there.

Snowflakes descend from the sky like tiny particles of cloud.

The ground upon which you walk is paved in radiant silhouettes of gold.

The essence of humanity seems fabled.

This realm of imagination feels domicile.

Imagine the encumbrance of the world embracing its limitation.

No longer must we feel enslaved by the brutal hands of time.

Travel with me tonight as we journey to that paradise.

Leave all of your troubles permanently buried in the past.

For within this secluded woodland,

The image of society has primarily shifted into extinction.

Grasp my calloused hands and let us escape this enduring nightmare.

Freed from the boundaries of this cruel atmosphere we will dance.

We will dance eternally in the dimension of fantasy.

Let us create our own fairy tale.

Let it be told for generations to come.

We can escape now if you decide to follow.

Follow me now into the Forest of Enchantment.
