Three kids, more seedy than most
walking down a grocery store aisle
Three kids, one notices a wigged old lady
passing her by, the flick of a hand
the wig is removed, three kids laughing and running
one turns to sneer, stops with shock instead
Three kids turn to see no woman left
a grocery cart, unguided, gliding to a stop
one looks at the wig in his hands

concerned
