GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS by Betty Rickard Wednesday, March 19, 2003 Share Print Save Become a Fan Concerning Our "GREAT" Soldiers..
I hear the drum off in the distance, beating that same rhythm over and over again~~ I hear the sounds of war~~I know it is just about to begin... I hear the marching off in the distance~ ~~ I hear the announcement of~~~"We are at War" ~~ " The United States is at War" ~~ I can hear and see in my mind the sounds of War ~~ I can hear bombs blasting so loud and guns being fired.. I see all the red alerts...I can feel the terror and emotions that a war like this can cause~~~ But I, also know the United States will never ~~~ Never back off! I want to cry for all the young lives that will be lost~~ I feel the sadness in my heart~~ Some, Soldiers so young, they did not have a chance to live yet~~~ Brave you, are! The mother in me wants to cry ~~ wants to protect all the young Soldiers who didn't have a chance to experience life yet ~~~ The human person, in me wants to cry for all the lives that will be lost~~ I hear that drum, It keeps on beating ~~ I hear that horn in the distance~~playing Taps, that sad~~sad song.. I want to cover my ears from the sounds of War and gather all the soldiers in my arms to protect them ~~ To keep them safe from any harm.. God, be with all our servicemen and~~service women, protect them~~keep them safe put your loving arms around them as they fight to protect us and keep the freedom of the United States.. Let our Soldiers know how proud we are~~~ We are praying for their safe return~~ Hear our prayers Lord ~~~onces again in War~~Hear our prayers~~ Be safe our brave servicemen and ~~~servicewomen ~~ Be safe~~~In Gods name be safe.. God bless you ~~~ God, be with you~~~God protect you~~~ We Thank you, with all our hearts... As our American flag flies high and keeps waving ~~ waving ~ waving with so much HONOR and PRIDE~~It waves because of "YOU" our Soldiers ~~ because of "YOU"~~ Stay safe ~~ Hurry home ~~ God, be with you ~~~ God, bless you and the U.S.A. �XxSuNkiSsx.aol.com a.k.a. The Author of "GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS" writes with a great Voice. I am very impressed with the Author's eloquent Style. Sho wrote a masterpiece. "GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS" is true literary art. The only GODS I know of that protect soldiers of fortune and killers and endorse terrorists and the Five Permanent Members of The United Nations Security Council, and Violators of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and The Constitution of The United States of America, are "ARES and PLUTO". God Bless you Betty. Now that the war has started it is time for all to let those who now fight to free others know how much we support them and pray for their safty. The time for protest is over, each protest now that supports Saddam will cost American Lives by giving false hope to a dying regime.
