The Road That Leads Me to You

I’ve walked different paths in my life
Some bumpy and curvy ways ahead
There were endless thorny roads I was led
I was lost on an empty street of grief.

It was a long journey on that rocky road
My knees felt weak trying to stay alive
Sweats down to my shivering frail body
I stride on bruised on that darkened alley.

But there was this single road
That was destiny’s choice…
Among that life’s lonely road
A single light shines as bright.

I took my careful steps counting each
I used to cry blood, vomit with tears
I cast my fate to that sad wind
‘Til I traveled this road of happiness.

I smile for the for the first time after the many fall
I wiped the sweat and tears running as I fully recall
For I know at the end of this single road
There’s this YOU who’ll welcome me with outstretched hands

… This is the road that made me whole… the road that leads me to YOU!
