We all have girlfriends like in this poem. Enjoy!
Many Blessings

A Girlfriend is like your best friend,
She let’s you cry and help you mend,
She will be down with you in a fight,
Just make sure you treat her right,
She has poise and attitude too,
She has a personality just like you,
She can sometimes bring you down,
She can make you wish she wasn’t around,
Then there’s the girlfriend who knows it all,
She waits for things to happen and you to fall,
Never has anything encouraging to say,
Stays in the past day by day,
She tells you men are dogs thru and thru,
She tells you they will break your heart and destroy you,
Always reminds you of all your downfalls,
And you always answer her phone calls,
Then party girlfriend could care less,
She keeps her life in a complete mess,
She stays out all hours of the night,
In her little world she’s always right,
She rips and runs here and there,
She does not worry or have a care,
Her men she keeps in complete check,
Even though she is a total wreck,
Then sad girlfriend is looking for love,
In all the wrong places and never from above,
She has no regard of right or wrong,
She always sings a sad love song,
She too is right in all she do,
Ridicules others and even you,
In the mirror she sees a perfect sight,
Not knowing her pain has burned out her light,
A true girlfriend knows her place,
She also knows when you need your space,
Never judging or downing you,
She always knows just what to do,
When things go so very bad,
She’s the best friend you ever had,
So keep a shoulder and tissue to lend,
A girlfriend will be there until the end,

You've reminded me well to just keep the girlfriend I have. They can be so much trouble. After all, our attraction to them can be viewed as God's little trick to get us to reproduce. Or, as you say, they can be the best of friends, and the best of true passion. Well done, good insight..........Jerry
