It's Amazing by Richard Region Arrington Tuesday, January 12, 2010 Rated "G" by the Author. Share Print Save Become a Fan A few day's ago, my heat pump quit at 4:AM. I awoke to frozen windows and a temp of 49 degrees in my living room. It was 7 degrees outside and my son's (2 and 8) were crying. This has been the coldest winter since 1932 in East Tennessee. Ten day's of temps below freezing. I am grateful for a fast response in the repairs. This inspired me to write the following:

It's 72 degrees in the living room this morning It was 49 degrees earlier Amazing how we ignore the small things like heat until they are gone We all of a sudden become grateful It appears there is a great deal to be thankful for if we just look around us Let's start out today and give thanks for our Lord Family Friends and home... It's Amazing how we ignore The flowers Trees Animals Small children laughing Birds singing Until They are gone Sad? Look around you! You are blessed If you have eye's to see The blessings you have Like the birds in the trees share what you are grateful for!

YES RICHARD, I AGREE...IT IS THE 'LITTLE THINGS' WHICH WE TAKE FOR GRANTED THAT CAN BE SO INSPIRATIONAL TO US. IN EVERY WAY...WITH EVERY CREATED THING GOD'S PURPOSE IS TO GET OUR ATTENTION.
