What Needs To Be Said

Sometimes what needs to be said isn't ever said, even if it should be, to help make the road of life easier to travel down.

It's true that what needs to be said

Can never be revealed the way it should

Even if things weren't intended secret

Caution removes trust which isn't good.

Honesty is said to be the best policy

But not speaking up does make it worse

Something does get lost in translation

As well as into safety one does immerse.

The truth is said to often set one free

But in essence it can also do persecute

Because it's like a double-edged sword

That cuts both ways one cannot dispute.

Truth be told with kind bluntness. Good writing and reading.
