I Cry For You No More

Song Lyrics.

I Cry For You No more

Girl you know I cried for you

You went walking out the door.

I think I’ve lost my love for you

I cry for you no more.

Babe you know you crushed me,

You know you broke my heart,

The day you said you hated me

And that we’d have to part.

For six long months for you I cried

What you did to me it was a crime,

But when I think of how you lied

I’ve wasted tears and time.

You said you’d never loved me

As you went waltzing out the door

Now I think you used me,

I’ll cry for you no more.

If you ever came back to me

I would try to forget our pain

We would not be as we used to be.

But I’d try to start again.

If you like the life you live

Then I will lock my door

If you have no more to give

I’ll cry for you no more.

Such power and meaning in this poem-yet the power to forgive still remains.
