ONLY LOVE DROPS ..... I SHOULD HAVE SET ME FREE !!!!!

Lifes fond illusion, once then be,

as my spirit decays,

thou .... I wither,

within this rude world of deception,

false promise,

delusion,

Love .... once the ruler of my heart,

has become my coldest critic,

betrayed by false hope,

my bitter dark wound,

I walk alone,

desperate once .... to be loved,

but love seems never to find my path,

I am only a vapor,

a mist in weeping rains,

disguised as happy,

borrowed only as prey,

the ruins of my lone heart,

dream that I forget,

and forget that I remember,

the lasting pulse beat,

of my horrible happiness,

are the wreckage that bleed,

true ly then ...... I never deserved to be,

I lived and walked alone,

on the Shore of Error,

unwanted, unloved, tortured, bruised,

a dream once,

I dreamt,

of someone miles and years away,

some spark that might bring happiness,

a bandage.

to enlighten the sorrowed soul,

someone ...... true , honest,

devoting oneself,

to the inner core,

as I to be,

but what then is a dream,

an ounce of hope,

an unlit promise,

a killer of heart,

Be not there,

as I build a wall,

awaiting death,

ever the pain that has overtaken me,

Loneliness has made the loudest noise,

for this bruised soul,

in human form,

Bondage ...... death,

But then will death be the door that leads to light,

I died alone last night ,

Do I matter now !

My darling Valerie, I cannot imagine the heartache and pain that gives birth to such an emotional outcry as "Wreckage on Error's Shore."

Still, I am reminded of one of my favorite poems by another AD poet: "When It Rains" by Jean Pike.

The devout young heroine in my first novel, "The Paradise of Revenge," endures much until she finally learns the truth: We are never alone. God is everyone. Love is the ultimate revenge."

I pray that you will find in God your ultimate revenge for such a wounded heart. We in the Author's Den community all feel the same way: You do matter!

Write to me anytime.
