daily thoughts

Predawn thoughts

Those quiet dark moments before the sun’s rising dawn, a cold moments reflection upon this new day’s rise.

A time to bid farewell to the citizens of the nighttime shadow world.

Your new day’s beginning sends them off to their special place, until it’s your time to call on them once again.

Yesterday’s madness, frustrations, and general distasteful events should not be rolled over and over in your mind.

They feed the shadow beings of the night and become the self destructive guides for today’s turn of events.

Do we cast the dye for our new days beginning before our feet even hit the floor?

I fear that this happens all too much, a ritual that becomes a habit for far too many people.

Why is it always so easy to fall over the edge?

Why is it so easy to lose sight of our goals?

Yesterday’s woes are ended in the new dawning light; your life receives a new beginning with every new sunrise.

So don’t let yourself get caught up in the impossible chase of perfection.

Our lives are nothing more than a journey where we must try to lift our eyes and goals to the heavens, and we should always strive to walk away from our individual hells.

The problems and grief’s that we experience in all of our yesterdays show us nothing more than the potholes in our journey that we need to avoid.

Bear
