A woman that needs to love herself first in order to find someone to love her for her

I long to be loved by someone that'll love me for me
Love passes me by; why oh! why I cry; love as gone awry
What belies beneath my facade that love?  has bequeath to
me a life with no love; it just passes me by; nothing else
surpasses the hurt I feel as love passes me by

Love passes me by; heart is full of love; why can't anyone see
that part of me?  Beauty isn't why no one loves me; sex appeal
is apparent for all to see; there's nothing I try to conceal; the
key to unlock my heart can only be done by me loving me

As I learn to love me; love will no longer just pass me by; it will
never again make me cry; because love passes me by; I can dry
those tears of despair; I'm now aware that it's me that has to
take care of my own affairs; to receive the love of a man with
gentlemanly debonair flare; to shower me with his dramatic
airs of loving me sincere

Finally, I can declare I've found such a man whose sincere;
he was always near; It was me blinded by my own fear of
loving someone too fierce; it would pierce my heart when
he didn't earn or return the love that I yearned; it's time
to set those fears aside as I abide by my hearts new found
pride

Thank you God for stopping love from passing me by; giving
me the strength to love myself; I know I'm top shelf; just
had to believe in self to receive love in and of itself; I also
thank you for helping me revive what I lost inside myself
