Bundi.
Sad is the eye that looks upon the dying.
She who has the mental scars of a beast
still carries compassion.
Bravado, peer pressure, pitching with the pack!
Heat of the hunt in a red pindan cloud
Motor revving, bouncing suspension
The sound of a rifle from the back, crack! crack!
Sad little girl now witnessing the carnage.
Romance of starlit night, fire bright
Hunter's spoils on the rack look black,
How empty the night seems now.
She misses her dog. her father, her mother, she cries.
Joy stolen, the creature kicks and stills.
Movement, a rock is raised "WAIT!"
Sad in the scene of creatures limp.
A tiny face, it's saving grace peers from the pouch.
Quickly take the orphan and run!
A voice within her calls.
Away from the guns she runs and runs.
"You won't kill this one!" she cries.
Sad is the eye that looks upon the living.
