The story of my life in poetry
It's early in the morning
and the freshness of the day
spreads itself across my senses
as the night flees away
The love of the Father
falls fresh on those He loves
I am filled with His Spirit
I am one with the Lord
Look upon His beauty,
Just bask in His love
Open little heartbud,
for your time has come
to give off that sweet aroma,
that is special just to you.
to the Father and be filled with the dew
Many have been waiting
for the day of your blooming
need to inhale the aroma of your offering
The treasure of yourself, once tightly bound,
is now revealed in all its beauty.
The pain you have suffered has enhanced your fragrance
The winds and rain have made you strong
Your purpose for being, to give glory to the Father.
His labor of love over you has been long.
maturing, revealing your destiny, lift your petals to the Son
Soft jewels of dew drops adorn you in splendor,
Open little heartbud, for your time has come.
Bloom, little heartbud, the world has been waiting,
the Father has been waiting,

Blessed are those that can sing the beauty of life.
"Heartbud" brings the sound of life to one's soul's ears.

|I like the flowing style. It gives the poem a sense of naturalness and portrays true emotions and a naturally flowing relatioship you have with your God.You use strong imagery yet you do not sacrifice content and tone in the process. Keep it up.
