Eons of moments, hours, and days,
smoothly flowing over the abyss of time.
Fleeting images of love and hate,
captured on the screen of the mind.
Luminous colors of joy and laughter,
dark hues of grief.
Moments and memories slipping away,
their value revealed too late
Sing life's song in the morning,
While the dew is fresh on the ground.
Dance beside the still waters,
In the green pastures lie down.
Rest in the Son at noontime,
Drink from the well of His love.
Embrace life's gifts for the moment,
Treasure each and every one.
Then send them home to the Father,
Before the midnight comes.
