Catastrophic occurrences in nature are now widespread
Snarling waves in angry hordes
swarm across the sea.
captive between their gnashing teeth,
howling to be free.
Darkness creeps on stealthy feet,
while unsuspecting man
plays upon the sand.
Mighty funnels,swirling death,
snatch their prey away.
The very earth beneath our feet,
shudders with a fearful breath,
as eyes stare, mouths open wide,
hearts fail in disbelief.
Deep within the bowels of earth,
agony boils like molten fire,
as pangs of birth rip and tear
our world apart.
Weep and howl,
oh, men of earth,
you must cry to a Higher Power.
Frivolous pursuits are gone in the tide,
as you run to the caves to hide.
As nature screams under
the curse of sin,
her creator hears her cries.
The end of all things is at hand,
for nature's travail has begun.
