OLD ZODIAC TOWN
When I was only sixteen years old
I got married and with him moved home
We lived with his parents for a year
In just a short time I loved them dear
They welcomed me inside their home
They treated me just like their own
Two sweeter people I`ve never met
The beautiful memorys I won`t forget
It was a mile back through the trees
So there were made lots of memories
It was once a town in years gone past
A log cabin where we lived was the last
There`s twelve springs on that old place
With each the water of a different taste
A big huge rock spreads over the ground
Where we had carved our names around
Whippoorwills echoed through the night
Until the bright early mornings light
But brush and trees now pave the way
Only old foundations left there today
Never a more precious place I`ve found
As where once stood Old Zodiac Town
Mom and dad have sinced passed away
Though memories of them still remain
So many babies were born on that place
It is where I seen my first borns face
Many people came from miles around
To that little place called Zodiac town
