Believe in the power of the soul
It quenches thirst from human grief
And shapes our being as clay
formed and smoothed by artistic hands.
Believe in the light of rememberence
It calls us back to those sweetened times
When love and innocence reigned
And our world was young and free.
Believe in the hope of the future
It serves as a guide to true reality
Of a place burned deep in our mind
Where rest and peace reside
Believe in the continence of love
It swells the heart and fills the void
Made deep and wide by gabby hurt
From unrepentant fools in lust.
Believe in a life everlasting
And the promise of worthy grace
From a benevolent patrition's palm
Outstretched in assignation.

'Believe' is a poem of enlightenment and hope. It speaks to the need of man to have more in life and a hope in the hereafter.

This is a beautiful poem! Your words are very uplifting, especially, "Believe in the light of rememberence
It calls us back to those sweetened times
When love and innocence reigned
And our world was young and free." These words are so comforting, especially now when so many of us are going through career changes or other transitions. There are many days when I yearn to be young again. The other day, I was thinking of how simple my life was back in college, and how challenging life is now. However, your poem gives me light, and it puts things into perspective. It is important for us to cherish our memories, and think about the sweet, innocent, and simple past. Sometimes our thoughts can give us hope, or lift our spirits. Once again, your poems are very uplifting.

Second stanza, first line, last word: I HAVE READ IT AS "REMEMBRANCE". (The process of remembering.)
With wise thoughts, poemization and sounding rhythm "Believe" was poetized, delivering a message of wisdom.
Never rest Your pen Sublime Poet.
In respect and admiration,
