Yet another piece. This was published in SP Quill Sumnmer Edition '04. You should go pick up a copy, there's some talent in it.

Drumming
        (the silent drumming)
        surrounds and
                 engulfs
                 me
I sit in the corner
                 Reading my ceiling of lies
Listening, silently, as my sister cries
                 Over running
     the noise
                 of my parents
With drumming heartbeats
I let it fade until my body's
                 numb - again

Then I watch the walls
                 (do they hear my drumming
                                  with their ears?)
I watch for an hour
                 the light tales
                 time
I walk out my door
                 into old revelation:
                                                                     I'm still nothing
                                                   and nothing has changed

LET ME BACK IN MY CORNER
                 (atleast there I feel cold.)
