My Desire For You.

I walked my desire for you
like a dog on a leash,
firmly snapping to heel
my feelings of breathless anticipation.
But my desire for you would
not
be
contained
and in a fleeting moment
of inattention
tore from me and sank
it's teeth into you and
tore you to
shreds!

Lust poured from your wounds
and with wanton madness
idrankitupeverydrop
tastingsuchsweetness
lickingandsucking
drinkinglikeiwouldneverstop.
untilashamedof my......gluttony
i dropped to my knees.

I called the dog,
still dragging it's leash
and as it came reluctant
I vowed to hold on tighter next time.

AND NOW
I search for you with slow haste,
rushing carefully into my eagerness
with orderly chaos.

I want to get it right spontaneously
because i want to take no second chance
with this impulsive obsession.

My soul is under lock and key now
lying naked for you to see
and the mere thought of touching it fills me
with the sweetest revulsion

and so
I search now with slow haste.

Dear Dora;

...an excellent and arousing write! I am not very keen on free verse, but I very much enjoyed this. I write mostly lyrical poetry... you may be interested in my "Crystal Dreams" and "The Touch".

All the best to you and yours,

Doc
