JUST LIKE POP.
When I grow up
From being a pup,
I know what I want to be.
I refuse to go pale
From chasing my tail;
None of that kids stuff for me!
I won't fetch a ball
'cos that's no fun at all,
I won't chase dumb cats up a tree;
I don't want to beg
Or stand on two legs
'cos non the that interests me.
Some dogs are weird,
A few dogs are feared,
They grown and they bark and they bite;
Some love chasing cars-
They should be behind bars-
And some just go prowling at night.
What I would like,
Though I'm just a wee tike
And I'm not fully house-trained right
now
Is to go to the top;
And be just like my Pop;
He's already showing me how.
My Pop's just great,
Though he's sleeping in late,
'cos they took him out somewhere at two;
It's got me perplexed
What they mean by "desexed"
But if he did--- then I want it too!
