I see gray faces none never the same. I hear words spoken but no theyre not real. I look up I see niceness. I blink. I can see meanness. Then I think to myself, what not a wonderful word. You cant trust anyone, let alone believe in anyone. Thus, I am no one Just a stepping-stone.

Exactly!! I think all caring people are used as stepping stones. But, do we ever get to be appreciated in this world? Maybe we have come into it, knowing our roles were to be stepping stones?
After all, how many times do we allow ourselves to be used as stepping stones? It must be part of who we are.
Maybe the next time, it's the other way round. Some are here to be helped and other's are here to help. |
