i have waited for my lord raven for so long
i have felt his absence deeply only he has filled
oh lord raven where forth have you gone to
she stands alone at the entrance so all alone

the first time i saw him i knew we were meant to be
he took me as a child now i am grown has he seen
i waited upon him as a teen my heart growing
she stands alone at the entrance so all alone

now i am a woman filled with love and lust for him
dear lord raven where have you been taken
my heart is cold empty without your presence here
she stands alone at the entrance so all alone

my desires for your attentions are hot with passion
all i wish for is your return your attentions to my needs
yet i stand here faithfully awaiting your return
she stands alone at the entrance so all alone

What a great poem. It reminds me of The Time Traveler's Wife.
