walking upon the sands
feeling the sun beat down
the wind softly blows...palms sway
leaving only my footprint in passing

tensions abate...a calmness begins to flow
water laps upon the beach
silence surrounds...easing the mind
leaving only my footprint in passing

the world a thing of the past
as a calm serenity takes hold
worries evaporate...as the mind begins to rest
leaving only my footprint in passing

I understand exactly how you feel, Mary Etta! There's nothing like a stroll along the beach...especially when there's hardly anyone around, to lift the spirits and soothe the soul....Nicely done!
