reaching my golden years...things begin to slow
i dont feel the rush to do anything anymore
there is no 'have to do's' in my life
except what i feel is important to me

im not driven to keep my house spotless
there is no need to be fashionably dressed
no desire to shop because its the 'thing' to do
except what i feel is important to me

i don't have a timeframe for retiring at night
nor do i have to set my alarm clock
i can lounge comfortly in a lounger all day
except for what i feel is important to me

my only commitments anymore is eating on time
doctor appointments...shopping for necessities
and of course, paying my bills on time and tend the animals
except for what i feel is important to me

A great philosophy for retiring. I'm still pushing at it and probably will continue until I push right off this planet. I'm told that it's a way to live long, and I believe it. If I relaxed, I probably fall apart completely. ;-) Ron
