His voice carried me
to words that spoke
of his soul
My heart responded,
articulating
possibilities
in staccato beats.
We spoke until
our respective phones beeped
their exhaustion
Sleep eluded
as I replayed
the conversation,
smiling into my pillow.
Who needs sleep
when love
whispers softly
in the dawn.

I love it, simple yet so very passionate and romantic as love blossoms on line or phone line. Well done Leysa.
