Many lovely leaves
have fallen from
the tree
A beautiful spring
bud

delicate shade of
green
just starting in
life
gave up
surrendered to the
wind.

Leaves of many
colors
flutter to the
ground
gets caught up
in the wind
drops away
blown into, never
found.

A leaf  turning
silver
ageing with the
time
an endless beauty
fully developed
decided to call it
quits
at last gives a
sigh.

A scene of  beautiful
colors
silently cover the
surround
creating a magical
pattern
a tapestry of life
lying on the ground.

I see the silver has crept into my dark hair woven in and out of crown to base...but I will not and shall not quit. Lovely work.

Yes! Autumn is my favorite season because of all the lovely colors, and also I must admit the fact that it's finally pitch black at night again after a whole summer of 24/7 daylight. Well written.
