What is love, without loving the right person but when the right person is being loved by someone else, what will you do?

From the years of our youth

We shared the same laughs

And now my ego yens for more

Waiting to kiss those soft lips

That ones gave a friendly advice

As the days scroll by

My love for you are well written

Engraving every thoughts of mine

Captured by your beauty

In diary I express-

A love far greater than Romeo’s

Pouring my heart feelings

As the pages flip

In envy, I stir at your beauty

Counting each steps

Jotting the very sound made by your walks

For in my world, I made you a goddess

And now I stand

Watching you say, “I do”, to a stranger

Pulling the plug that kept me living; ___You.

Oh yes, this is very very fine poetry.

I especially loved these two verses,

In diary I express-

A love far greater than Romeo’s

The pun on "In diary" is very keen!

No harder and no greater romantic love can you gift to another heart, and no greater personal longing can cause you as much pain. Endure it. Love her anyway. All that matters is that YOU know the depth of your love. It will sustain you. A truly grand and noble write, a wonderful sentiment!

Oooh, love her and love her well! This last stanza punches this page. What an honorable man to write such prose! Stuns me.

Thank you
