The aging process isn't just on the OUTSIDE, it's on the INSIDE too!

BRAIN DRAIN.........!

Once past the BIG SIX OHHH
Time no longer moves so slow
In younger days it dragged
And now all things have sagged!

I remember who I am
I know my name is Pam
But remembering it ALL...well
Is an order just too tall!

In oh so many things
I'm sad at what time brings
My memories aren't as clear
My time left becomes more dear....

I tell myself "don't worry!
You forgot because you hurry!"
So I slow things down a bit
Instead of running... now I sit

My life's clock continues ticking
And more leisure is what I'm picking
It's just hard to accept my age!
Act Four of my life's play on the stage.

I say it should be played for as long as possible! Always think young, young, young....

Be always safe,

Hahaha!! I know where this one came from, Pam. As I have told you before I never let birthdays bother me until last April 2 when I turned seventy. Old age is finally sinking in. Cute poem.
