This is a poem written as a song.It is talking about how one can be deceived by a false love.
Sweet lyrics, persuading words
Compelling moves, sensual thoughts.
All said to get my lonely heart
And set my standards apart.
You promised me a love that was without border;
Said your love will take me yonder.
Now that you've got what you've been looking for:
Strange, strange, how love can be;
Very strange, strange, how love can be.
Why the lies, why deceptions?
Why the sudden change in actions?
After you've got my body and heart
You left me with a broken heart.
I'll never be in love again
I'll never give my heart away
I thought that I knew true love,
Until you showed me that love can be;
Strange. Strange, strange, how love can be.

|Hi, nicely penned, lovely poetic expression, but why have you gone silent. It is not wise to give away a beautiful life for some other's folly!1|

|Wow! Great poetic expression about the feelings of deception! I think it happens to all of us. Usually it occurs when we are young and open and it has a way of hardening our hearts. Still, there are good people in this world but they are becoming as rare as precious gems.
Peace, Love and Blessings,
John Michael Domino
