You have expressed yourself so beautifully in this poem, and have show that you appreciate life, and all of the simple things. The photo enhances your poem, as it shows the outdoors and nature. I agree, the "storm makes us survivors." It is the hardships and challenges with strengthen us.

| Amen... and thank you for YOU! Like a prayer sampler on a Puritan wall. A good delineation of the benefits of "suffering" as opposed to the virtues of stoicism. Living in denial can make us hard as flint, but being sculpted by lifes winds and waves can render us moulded, malleable and useful. Poignant thoughts couched in elegant, clean simplicity.
